Points

Points are useful for nearly everything in Star Pirates, and may be purchased via PayPal. However, they can also be earned in-game; you can buy points from the points market, or trade items for them, or even find them on a dangerous excursion to an asteroid belt.

Points can be spent to:

  1. Refill your fuel for 10 points.
  2. Refill 100% energy for 10 points.
  3. Refill 20% energy for 3 points.
  4. Search the debris field for 5 points.
  5. Refill your research units for 60 points.
  6. Cloak your ship for 3 points (this lasts 20-40 minutes. While active, there is a 75% chance to work during attacks made while the effect lasts - if it does, a random person will be 'picked' to be shown in the event and logs rather than 'you'.)
  7. Repair your ship to leave the Shipyard early. This will cost 1-5 points, depending on how long your ship has been in the shipyard (the closer to fixed your ship is, the fewer points it will take).
  8. Remove your officer for 3 points.
  9. Fully repair ship (outside of the Shipyard) for 2 points.
